About Me:

I am a Los Angeles psychologist in private practice. I've worked with clients experiencing a variety of issues for over thirty-five years and have provided clinical supervision to doctoral-level psychology interns as well. I specialize in treating Adult ADHD, Anxiety, and Depression.

I am a Certified Clinical Services Provider, having met the clear and established guidelines of training as set forth by the Institute of Certified ADHD Professionals, whose advisors include the nationally-renowned Russell A. Barkley, Ph.D. and Max Wiznitzer, M.D. This Institute and its certification process have been endorsed by CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder), a CDC-funded national clearinghouse for evidence-based information about ADHD. As a result, you can be confident that I am able to offer you the best perspectives and methods available in this area.

As an experienced anxiety therapist and can help you realize your dream of a less stress-filled life. For nearly four decades, I have guided many, many people through this process of anxiety reduction to arrive at a new quality of life; it’s wonderful to witness clients’ return to feeling in charge of their lives. That’s why I’m confident you can get better, too.

What Can I Offer You?

Life can often leave us feeling wounded . . . with emotional scars that don’t heal and painful beliefs that negatively impact how we live our lives. I offer a compassionate response based on who you are as a unique individual.

I listen deeply to your thoughts and feelings, hearing both the strengths and talents and qualities and history that make you uniquely you, as well as the hurts and pains that you’re struggling with. Together we work towards your vision of your most alive self.

I am equally committed to helping the heart heal its scar tissue as I am to helping the mind soften its rigidities to be able to experience life in new ways. In Heartminded Psychotherapy, emotions and thoughts are equally valued; after all, we only sustain our changes when both are in alignment.

Clients who work with me are valued for who they are, feel better as hurts and fears are resolved, and become empowered to make real changes in their lives.
